Advanced Training Philosophies
Advanced Training Philosophies (ATP) Co-founders Garrett Shinoskie and Josh Whisman envisioned creating an affordable yet effective training service for the masses. This vision was inspired by their experiences in the training industry. This is when they realized the only way to expand their services to everyone was to utilize the internet as a medium. After years of data collection on their personal clients’ results, they found common variables that attributed to each client’s success. These common variables are now the foundation of ATP’s training system. ATP was established to provide individualized exercise programs to anyone looking to achieve their fitness goals in the shortest amount of time. In today’s fitness industry, exercise enthusiasts are flooded with gimmicks and flashy training fads that typically fall short of consumer expectations. Fitness programs should not be generalized into a one size fits all mentality! At ATP, our training philosophies are not based on theory, but on proven practical application. ATP’s training programs are for anyone interested in maximizing their fitness/athletic potential. Our clients understand that to obtain their desired results they must commit to making lifestyle changes, be willing to push themselves beyond their limits, and hold themselves accountable to following ATP’s training programs. If you are interested in achieving your fitness goals, become a member of ATP today!
Our passion and desire to help others accomplish their fitness goals elevates ATP to a higher standard. Most people fail at accomplishing their goals because they do not have the proper tools and guidance. In today’s fitness industry there is a lot of misinformation about training and how to achieve results. Half of this information is based on theory, and is not supported by real life application. That is why we created ATP; to provide the tools, information, and support to help you become successful.

Definition of ATP
Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) is a high energy molecule in the body that provides the stimulus for all muscular contraction. Limited amounts of ATP molecules are stored in the muscle cells. During activity ATP must be replenished by the body’s multiple energy pathways for continued muscular contractions. Intensity and duration of an activity determine which energy system will complete the demand for ATP. If the rate of ATP synthesis is not equal to the demands of the activity, continued muscular activity is impossible. ATP is an integral component of muscular activity and growth.
